We’re sitting at ~$27K in revenue with just 10 days left to hit a $41K goal. Two-thirds of the way there. The pipeline is active, but the clock is ticking. Can I close the gap? Or will September end as a near miss?

Quick Win The first “hire” (kind of). I offered my main guy guaranteed Mondays with Peachy Party, whether there’s work or not. He jumped on it. That alone takes stress off my plate — no more scrambling for Monday help. But here’s the twist: after a disagreement at his other job, he may soon be available even more often. For him, it’s unfortunate. For me? It could be a blessing in disguise. Still, committing to steady pay in a business where revenue swings wildly is terrifying. Stay tuned.

Challenging Moment The landlord conversation. Not a blowup, but real talk. The deal I had may not last, and November is now looming larger than ever. That’s when the numbers, and my next move, have to be crystal clear.

Behind the Numbers
Revenue’s strong, but net income is dragging below 50% this month. Why? A few new inventory purchases. The long game says it’s an investment. The short game says it’s eating into margin right when I’m chasing my biggest goal yet.

To close the gap, the plan is to lean into every last-minute job that comes through, push site visits hard, and keep the crew tight now that Mondays are covered.

September isn’t just about doubling last year’s revenue. It’s about proving that the business can grow and absorb hits like new inventory and rising rent — without collapsing under its own weight.
