The Peachy Pulse – November 2025: Mid-Month Check-In
A slow month... that somehow still isn’t slow
November has that strange dual personality — quieter on the surface, but just busy enough that you never really slip into recovery mode. It’s like the month is whispering, “Relax… but not too much.” And honestly? It’s working.
So here’s where we stand at the halfway mark.
Revenue Check-In
Current revenue: ~$11K (accrual basis)
Target for November: ~$8.4K
Yes — we’re above target.
But only because the switch to accrual accounting (thanks to the new Goodshuffle → QuickBooks integration) forces a more honest view of timing. Cash is still trickling in slow, but the work itself is holding steady.
A small win, even if it doesn’t feel like one yet.
A-Player Update: A Chapter Closes… Kinda
Big news: My A-player landed a new job.
He’s getting paid well, learning to weld (a skill I’ve been wanting to pick up myself), and leveling up his toolbox. I’m truly happy for him. But I’d be lying if I said it didn’t hit a little hard.
This is the slow season, thankfully — but even then, I’ve already had a couple jobs where I felt myself scrambling for help again. Not fun. Not ideal. But familiar.
Still… I’m quietly plotting on snagging him back at some point.
Let the man get settled. Then we’ll talk. 😌
Warehouse Vibes
The warehouse dynamic shifted this month when a new tenant moved in — and let me tell you…
Their organization is immaculate.
Bins. Labels. Systems.
Meanwhile, I’m over here like, “Maybe I should learn where all my ratchet straps are.”
It’s inspiring in the best way. Definitely giving “level-up energy.”
December Outlook
Let’s keep it real:
December is looking rough.
Jobs are slow, the calendar is thin, and the outlook… well… it’s giving “Character-Building Month.”
We’re not panicking — but we are preparing.
Winter is coming, and November is my reminder to stay sharp.
What’s Next
A slower stretch means I get space to:
Clean up the warehouse
Rebuild the pipeline
Re-focus on marketing (email + SMS especially)
Strengthen systems before spring
And with accrual accounting now in play, it’s time to get more intentional with forecasting and budgeting.
