The Peachy Pulse – June 2025: Mid-Month Check-In
So close you can taste it (along with the sweat)
We’re halfway through June, and we’re sitting just past the $11K mark in revenue — which puts us within reach of the $15K goal. The numbers say we’re doing well. My back, on the other hand, says otherwise.
Here’s a look at what’s working, what’s wobbling, and what’s wearing me out.
Progress toward June goal:██████████░░
$11,000 / $15,000
🏆 Win of the Month (so far):
Landed a big September booking from a client I almost wrote off after our first chat. Sometimes the ones who seem unsure end up being the easiest closes — and the most profitable. A good reminder that not every lead needs to come in hot.
🤔 Lesson of the Month:
Low-dollar jobs that require long drives are eroding my margins. I’ve always known it, but now that I’m using ChatGPT to track profitability, it’s obvious in black and white. Add in that I’ve been doing a lot of the deliveries myself and... well, let’s just say the margins look good on paper, but the “labor cost” column doesn’t include chiropractic care.
📊 Stat Spotlight:
Labor accounts for just 4% of revenue so far, this month. Sounds efficient — but it’s mostly because I’ve been running solo. The truck gets loaded, the chairs are delivered, and the invoices get sent… all by me. Good for margins, rough on morale.
💬 Check-In
Halfway through June and I’ve got the sweat stains and spreadsheets to prove it. Whether you're slinging tents or just hauling through your business goals, what’s been your biggest win — or toughest lesson — so far this month?
Until next time
