The Long Drive for a Short Win

Today was one of those “do what you gotta do” days. I made the nearly two-hour trek to Central Tent in Ringgold, GA—definitely not my idea of fun, since I’m not a fan of long drives. But hey, frugality wins.

I went to stock up for an upcoming event and ended up walking away with a 15x15 clear top high peak, a 15x20, two 20x20 high peak tents. Bonus: they threw in a free pop-up tent. Gotta love an unexpected win.

In between the driving and tent shopping, I was still juggling the usual: taking calls, sending estimates, and wearing all the hats. You know the drill. The days are feeling shorter lately, and the to-do list isn’t getting any nicer about it.

Closing Thoughts

Running a business means you’re the driver, the buyer, the customer service rep, and sometimes the lucky recipient of a free tent. Every little thing adds up. Today was proof of that.
