Small Wins, Big Bets - March 28, 2025

A quiet delivery day, a focused outreach push, and a $4K gamble on future value

Hey Future Owner,

A Small Drop, a Big First
Today’s only delivery was a light one—just 3 tables and 15 chairs—but it marked a small milestone. It was the first time our woodgrain garden chairs went out on a rental. I’ve been trying to get these chairs some action, so fingers crossed we’ll get good photos and maybe even a glowing review from this event. Sometimes the little orders open the biggest doors.

Email Hustle: Digging into the Past
Most of the day was spent crafting outreach emails to past clients. I even built a fresh template and combed through events from April–May 2024 to reconnect. The goal? Hit $30k, and we’re not leaving any stone unturned. Reaching out to folks who already know us might be the fastest route to closing that gap.

A $4K Bet on Chairs (and Clients)
On the spend side, I had to pull the trigger on more chairs—banquet style this time—for a corporate order. Not thrilled about more cash flying out the door (almost $4k, including handtrucks), but I’m optimistic. These chairs might pull double duty for indoor weddings too, so there’s potential versatility. Really, I’m banking on the long-term value of this corporate client to make this one pay off.

Closing Thoughts
Today was a reminder that growth doesn’t always feel like a win in the moment. A small delivery, some outreach, and a big spend can seem like small moves—but they’re stacking. Every chair, every email, every dollar is a step toward that $30k goal.
