Slow Days & Second Thoughts - February 14, 2025

A Mahjongg Delivery, a Braves Interview, and a Reality Check

Early Morning Delivery – Mahjongg Tournament Setup

I hit the road early to drop off 36 card tables for a Mahjongg tournament. The venue was 45 minutes away, and I wanted to beat the inevitable traffic. The drop-off itself was smooth—no need to interact with the end client.

That said, I need to find a better way to load and unload these tables. Right now, it’s a manual, one-by-one process. The electric hand truck helps, but I feel like bundling the tables together could make things way more efficient.

A Moment of Reflection – Braves Logistics Interview

I had an interview with the Braves logistics team today. Honestly, I’m disappointed in myself for even considering it. But more on that later...

Slow Day on the Sales Front

The rest of the day was all about following up on leads and sending out quotes. Inbound was slow, and I didn’t do nearly enough outbound. Overall, it felt like a sluggish day.

Looking Ahead

Some days are about momentum, others are about problem-solving. Today felt like a mix of both. Time to figure out a better way to handle these table deliveries and step up the outbound game.

Until next time…
