September 27, 2025 – Daily Recap

I started the day expecting a grind, but it turned out to be a clean, easy win. Sometimes the best jobs are the ones that wrap up faster than you thought they would.

Tent Pick Up
We only had one job on the books today — collecting the seven pop-up tents from yesterday’s setup. At first, I figured I’d handle it myself, but after seeing how setup went, I knew backup would be smarter. That call paid off.

Pick up went way smoother than drop off, even without the volunteers we were told would be around. Instead of dragging on, we knocked it out in about an hour.

The Numbers
Margins came in around 80%, which I’ll happily take. Even with the weekend fee waived, this job turned out to be a solid moneymaker. Quick, efficient, and profitable — the trifecta.

The Feeling
Not every job needs to be a marathon to feel worthwhile. Today reminded me that sometimes the “easy” days are the most satisfying. Low stress, good margins, and a clean finish — I’ll take more of that anytime.
