Peachy Party ATL January 2025 Business Update

Kicking Off 2025: Lessons, Leads, and a Vision for Growth

Hey Future Owner,

It’s been a while, I know. Or as Eric B. and Rakim might say, “It’s been a long time, I shouldn’t have left you, without a dope beat to step to...” But here we are, kicking off 2025 with a renewed focus and plenty to talk about. Let’s dive in!

2024 Financial Recap: A Year of Growth and Learning
Revenue for 2024 came in at roughly $120K, but we closed the year with a ~$5K loss. While not ideal, it’s not surprising for a bootstrapped business reinvesting revenue into inventory.

Some key figures:

  • Inventory Purchases: $32K (27% of expenses)

  • Payroll: $23K (19% of expenses)

  • Rent: $20K (16% of revenue)

Here’s the bright side: If I held off on equipment purchases in 2025, I could theoretically pocket that $32K. While that’s not going to happen, it highlights the potential for profitability this year by optimizing inventory spending and growing revenue. The focus is clear: 2025 is the year to turn a profit.

Focusing on Leads: Lessons from $100M Leads
A conversation with a former colleague shifted my focus to one thing: leads. Inspired by Alex Hormozi’s $100M Leads, I’ve been nurturing warm leads through email, text, and phone follow-ups. It’s already generating additional business for 2025, which is exciting.

However, I also realized my closing rate (quotes sent vs. quotes signed) is around 15%, well below the industry average of 30%. Instead of justifying the low number, I’m doubling down on strategies to improve. One idea is turning smaller inquiries into opportunities without overwhelming our operations.

2025: Starting Strong
The new year is off to a solid start:

  • I’ve been sending out a lot of quotes for upcoming events.

  • We’ve booked our first pole tent job, which is a milestone for the year.

  • Some new equipment purchases are already aligning with committed rentals.

It’s do-or-die time for 2025, and I’m all in.

Big Goals: Strategic Relationships and Social Media Push
At the end of this month, I’m heading to the ARA 2025 show in Vegas to gather inspiration and plenty of content. Expect a stronger focus on social media this year to boost exposure.

I’m also prioritizing strategic relationships with venues, particularly to rent out our dance floor more regularly. There’s untapped potential there, and I’m determined to make it a cornerstone of our offering.

Looking Ahead
The lessons of 2024 have set the stage for a more intentional 2025. With a focus on profitability, lead nurturing, and building strategic relationships, Peachy Party ATL is primed for growth.

Here’s to staying consistent and keeping our eyes on the prize. Let’s make 2025 the best year yet.

Until next month,

Ramon
