October 27, 2025 – Daily Recap

It was one of those mornings where the sound of heavy rain made getting out of bed feel like a heroic act. I had four pickups scheduled, but it was raining cats and dogs — and the thought of fighting puddles and wet equipment wasn’t appealing. Instead, I made the executive decision to reach out to every customer, let them know the rain was slowing things down, and asked for flexibility. All but one replied — so yeah, I stayed home.

From Couch to Command Center

Okay, technically I was on the couch, but I wasn’t slacking. I turned the day into a catch-up marathon. Nearly two hours on the phone with QuickBooks (pray for me), plus a deep dive into admin mode — sending quotes, replying to emails, checking web traffic, and doing all the unglamorous but necessary behind-the-scenes work that keeps Peachy Party running smoothly.

And honestly? It felt good. The rain gave me permission to pause the physical grind and get my digital life in order.

The Website Temptation (Resisted!)

Here’s the part I’m proud of: I didn’t touch my website. I repeat — I did not tweak the website. That’s growth right there. Every time I open it, I find some small thing to change, but today I stayed disciplined and left it alone. Progress sometimes means not doing the thing you always do.
