November 9, 2025 – Daily Recap

I can’t remember the last time I said this — but today was a productive Sunday. It felt good to sit down, get into flow, and actually move something from “work in progress” to “done.” The kind of day where you close your laptop and actually feel lighter.

Landing Page Lock-In

I spent most of the day tightening up one of the landing pages I’ve been building. It’s about 90% of what I envisioned — close enough that I’m proud, but far enough that I know I need to stop tinkering. At some point, you’ve got to “let go and let God,” right? Is that how the saying goes?

There’s always that temptation to chase perfection, but I’m learning that done (and out in the world) beats perfect (and sitting in drafts).

Leads and Lessons

A few small leads trickled in — nothing major, and honestly, probably for the best. I’m starting to see how easy it is to get caught up in “any booking is good booking,” when in reality, not all business is good business.

Once I sit down to do a profitability analysis on those small jobs, I’m almost always kicking myself for taking them. Sometimes “no” is the smarter “yes.”
