November 5, 2025 – Daily Recap

I wrapped up my last day at MATRA today, and man… I’m beat. I should’ve slept in, but of course, I couldn’t help myself — I had to squeeze every ounce out of the day. It’s a blessing and a curse.

Closing Out the Conference

Even though I’d already seen most of what was on display, I still joined the early tour. Call it curiosity or FOMO — maybe both. The real win, though, was the people. I had a bunch of good, encouraging conversations that reminded me why I’m doing this in the first place. Those chats gave me a little more confidence to give this thing one more year — one more push to make Peachy Party truly sustainable. What that looks like exactly… TBD.

Gear Talk and Ideas

I finally got to check out the Palmer Snyder cocktail tables I’ve been eyeing. Solid stuff — I’ll be digging deeper into those soon. I also looked into some outdoor flooring options. I’ve been short a few times this year, and it’s clear I’ll either need to stock up or pivot to a new product. The research never ends.

There were probably a dozen other ideas bouncing around today, but I’ll admit — they’re all kind of blending together at this point. Conference brain is real.

The Long Ride Home

The 5+ hour drive back gave me time to think — and overthink. This next chapter feels like a turning point. It’s time to put up or shut up. Sounds dramatic, right? But honestly, it feels like that’s exactly where I’m at.

And yeah… I know I’m late on the financials. Let’s just say “executive delay.” 😅
