November 12, 2025 – Daily Recap

Today was another one of those days where I found myself doing a little bit of everything — not because I had to, but because I didn’t want to sit still. When business slows down, the hardest part isn’t the lack of work… it’s the silence that comes with it.

Digital Distractions

I started the morning behind the screen again — writing blog posts, updating my website, and tossing in a few new links just to feel productive. It wasn’t groundbreaking stuff, but it kept my brain moving. Sometimes I think I’m less of a party rental owner and more of a professional time filler when the leads go quiet.

The $1,300 Pickup

By early afternoon, I finally peeled myself away from the computer and made my way to pick up the truck. After a $1,300 bill, she’s back and ready for action. It stings, but keeping the truck healthy is non-negotiable. I hung around the warehouse a bit, cleaned out the box, and let that small win carry me through the rest of the day.

Laundry and Avoidance

Not quite ready to call it quits, I made a detour to the laundromat to tackle a mountain of overdue linens. It wasn’t glamorous, but there’s something about doing the small, overdue stuff that gives me peace of mind. I guess that’s how I cope — by checking boxes, even the boring ones.
