No deliveries, no bookings, but still progress

Warehouse Reset
The only thing on my mind today was getting the truck unloaded from the day before. In my head, it was going to take hours. In reality? 30 to 45 minutes. Funny how that works.

I also took some time to tidy up the warehouse — getting things off the ground, up onto racks, and just making the space a little more workable. The kind of day that doesn’t make headlines, but makes everything else run smoother.

Quotes Sent, Boundaries Held
Sent out a handful of last-minute quotes today. Didn’t budge on rush fees, and no one booked. It stings a little, but I’m standing by the pricing structure — especially during the busiest stretch of the year.

On the flip side, I got my routing locked in for Friday and Sunday. I’m also blocking off Saturday (unless something irresistible pops up) so I can actually see my family this weekend.

Evening Networking
Wrapped up the day at a NAWP networking meeting. Picked up a few promising business cards and jotted down some notes for follow-up. No instant wins, but you never know where these conversations might lead.

Until next time
