Rainy Day Rentals
Saturday was a light one on paper — just two stops. But the rain didn’t let up all day, so nothing felt quite as easy as it should’ve.

Stop 1: Pop-Up Tent in the Pour Down
A last-minute pop-up tent rental had us out in the rain early. I was half-expecting the customer to back out or ask for a refund once they saw the weather. But once the tent was up, there was no turning back.

Nothing wild — just soaked.

Stop 2: The Steep Hill Strikes Again
We returned to pick up the tables and chairs from Friday’s steepest-driveway-in-Atlanta job. Doing it in the rain wasn’t exactly fun.

  • Revenue: $680

  • Total Job Cost: $159

  • Profit: $521 (76.63%)

  • ARA Calculator Profit: $534.51 (78.68%)

  • Difference: +2.05%

The numbers lined up nicely with the ARA calculator, but what those formulas don’t capture is the time we’ll need to clean all the wet, dirty chairs back at the warehouse. Rain rentals always leave something behind.

Until next time
