Laying the Groundwork: From Weddings to White Dance Floors - January 24, 2025
How Small Steps Today Build Momentum for 2025
Hey Future Owner,
Today was another slow day on the operations front, but progress is still being made behind the scenes. Here’s the rundown:
Site Visit for an April Wedding
The highlight of the day was a site visit for a wedding we’re handling in April. It’s always helpful to see the venue in person and start mapping out the logistics early. These kinds of proactive steps make a big difference when the event day arrives.
Outreach and Web Fixes
I spent some time on outreach for other future events, planting seeds for what’s shaping up to be a promising year. I also fixed a minor issue I noticed on one of our web pages—small but necessary improvements to keep things running smoothly.
Big Move: White Dance Floor Order
After delaying for quite some time, I finally placed an order for a white dance floor. Initially, I planned to wait until the ARA show, but a late-day lead changed my mind.
The lead is for a month-long rental of a checkered dance floor, which could potentially cover the cost of the new white floor on its own if booked. This feels like a calculated risk, and I’m optimistic it will pay off.
Building Momentum
Leads are starting to pick up for the year, and that’s getting me excited. The groundwork being laid now will hopefully translate into a strong 2025 for Peachy Party ATL.
Looking Ahead
Even on slower days, every little step adds to the bigger picture. From site visits to outreach, the focus remains on preparing for a year of growth and opportunity.
Until next time,
Ramon
