June 5, 2025 - Daily Recap

Admin days still count

No bookings, no stops, no chaos — and somehow, still a full plate. Even a quiet Thursday requires intention when the weekend ahead is packed. Today was about maintenance: behind-the-scenes logistics, planning around tight schedules, and fitting in family without dropping the ball on business.

Back Office Energy
There were no deliveries or pickups scheduled, so the day was spent catching up on admin tasks. A few scheduled calls helped keep things moving, and I started reconciling accounts in prep for the May month-end recap. It’s not glamorous, but it’s necessary. Paperwork piles up just like chairs and arch panels — and this stack was starting to wobble.

Dad Duty (With a Whistle)
Took a break midday to head to my kid’s final day of basketball camp. They wrapped it up with a little showcase, so of course I had to be there. Business is important, but moments like these are why we’re even doing this in the first place.

Loading Early, Moving Smart
Even with nothing scheduled, I ended the day loading the truck for tomorrow and the weekend events. My schedule’s tight, so efficiency is the name of the game right now. Every task I get ahead on today saves me twice the time (and stress) tomorrow.

Until next time
