Light day, solid margins, and squeezing in some warehouse wins

Two Small Pickups, Big Efficiency
Sunday was a relatively light day, but I still brought in help since one pickup involved navigating a steep backyard slope. First stop: grabbing tables and chairs from a baby shower we delivered to the day before. Smooth pickup — and you can bet I’ll be following up for photos and a review.

  • Profit Check: $218 total cost → $553 profit (71.74%) vs. ARA’s $506 (65.66%) → -6.08% difference

Second Pickup, Referral Bonus
Next up, another pickup for nearly identical items — no backyard gymnastics required this time. This was a last-minute referral job where I waived the rush fee (sometimes you’ve got to play the long game).

  • Profit Check: $151 total cost → $460 profit (75.32%) vs. ARA’s $460 (75.38%) → +0.06% difference

Warehouse Reset and Unboxing Time
Back at the warehouse, we unloaded everything and took advantage of the light schedule to unbox some resin chairs and tidy up. Not glamorous work, but this kind of behind-the-scenes organization keeps things running smoother down the road. After that, a few errands and a well-earned wrap-up to the day.

Until next time
