Last-Minute Tent, Right on Time
We kicked off the day with a 20x30 tent install for a birthday party. The goal was to be in and out before my kid’s pep rally. The universe said, “Nah.” A flurry of last-minute texts (including an add-on fan) had us 15 minutes behind before we even left the warehouse. Once on-site, we ran into the classic rectangle tent dilemma: which way does it face? After walking the yard and evaluating two not-so-great paths—one with stairs, one through the woods—we got it up in under 2 hours. Didn’t even need the jack. Glad I had the foresight to add a portage fee.

Tent Pricing Regrets (Kinda)
I just dropped the price on our 20x30s recently… so naturally, this last-minute job paid full price without flinching. Classic. This one sat on the shelf for a bit, so maybe I was priced too high all along for our market. But in hindsight, this job didn’t need a discount. Lesson noted.

Dad Duties & Pep Rally Realness
Despite the morning delay, I made it to my kid’s pep rally. Only 5 minutes late. I was sweaty, but present. My kid walked straight up and was sure to let me know I missed the pre-show. Thanks, kid.

Small Sales, Big Satisfaction
Later, I headed back to the warehouse to meet a buyer and say goodbye to my Anchor 20x20 F3HP tent. Earlier this week, I also sold off a few mismatched resin chairs from a used batch. They weren’t blending well with the newer inventory, so it felt good to cash them out and clean up the racks. Except, now Im short a few chairs for an event in a few months!

Finished the day knocking out emails and catching up on admin before scooping up my tiny critic.
