July 11, 2025 – Daily Recap

Sweaty startups, smooth setups, and a mid-day pep rally dash

Two stops, one mission: keep it moving
The day kicked off with a clean install of a 20x20 tent, some coolers, and lights. It was a simple setup with convenient parking, so we wrapped up in under an hour. After that, my guy dipped out for a break while I hustled over to my kids’ final pep rally. Made it there a few minutes late and fully marinated in sweat. The joys of summer in the event biz. Yes, I missed the pre-show, AGAIN! And yes, my kid was sure to tell me and her mother about it!

Second tent, second wind
Back at the warehouse, reloaded the truck for round two: a 20x15 tent with tables, chairs, and (sigh) lights. The path to the setup area was hilly and not exactly dolly-friendly, but we still managed to knock it out within the hour. Not a bad rhythm for a slow Friday.

Bonus bookings and back-end hustle
Between installs and commutes, I handled a few calls and emails, including a quick win: a last-minute weekend job. It’s July — we take all the wins we can get.

Until next time
