I worked from home today, and the whole day felt like a mental juggling act. My head was full before my body ever caught up. Even so, I ended the day feeling oddly okay about it all.
A Morning That Went Sideways Fast
I started the day straight in CRM mode, which in hindsight probably set the tone. I got the idea that I should finally lean into my HighLevel CRM more, so I manually built out a list of venue partners just to see how it would feel in practice. It was one of those “this makes sense in theory” moves that quietly eats up more time than expected.
Calls, Campaigns, and Time Slipping Away
Not long after that, I jumped on a call to walk through email marketing campaigns using the CRM. The conversation went well, but it stretched well past an hour. By the time it wrapped, my brain needed a reset, which meant stepping away to grab a snack and decompress for a bit. That pause was necessary, but it also pushed everything else back.
Playing Catch-Up All Afternoon
By the time I finally got into real work mode, it was early afternoon. From there on out, it was nonstop requests coming in from different directions, each one requiring a bit of mental gymnastics to work through. I was grateful the phones were ringing and people were reaching out, but it still felt like I was treading water most of the day, trying not to fall behind.
No Proof, But a Good Feeling
I don’t have clean wins or concrete accomplishments I can point to from today. Still, despite feeling a little overwhelmed and behind at times, I feel good about the day overall. It wasn’t smooth, but it was productive in its own messy way.
Until next time
