January 13, 2026 – Daily Recap

Admin grind, but a real milestone

I spent most of today glued to my computer handling the unglamorous stuff that keeps everything moving. Bills, calls, emails, and requests filled the hours, and while it wasn’t exciting, it was one of those necessary days. Not much to show visually, but plenty happening behind the scenes.

A First Step Toward Hiring

The biggest win of the day was finally posting a job listing on my website. I’ve been sitting on that task for a while, so hitting publish felt heavier than expected. I followed it up by texting friends and family for referrals, which made it feel real fast.

This would be my very first hire, and that alone makes it a milestone. It feels like a shift from just running a business to actually building one. Even better, I already had one person reach out with interest, which gave me a jolt of momentum after an otherwise admin-heavy day.
