Birthdays look a little different these days. I spent mine the same way I spend most days — working. Not complaining, just stating facts. It felt fitting in a way.

Afternoon Start & First Resin Drop

Timing was a little off today, so I couldn’t start my route until the afternoon. Once I got to the warehouse and loaded up, my first stop was dropping off our clear resin chairs.

This was their first rental.

I’m excited about these. I’m also cautious. They had to be handled with baby gloves — every movement deliberate, every stack careful. I’m hoping we get good feedback, but I’m already wondering how much more I can realistically expand in this category if they require this level of care every time.

Early Sub Rental Pickup

I had a long break in the middle of the day, so I used it wisely. I stopped by a larger company’s facility that graciously agreed to let me pick up my sub rentals a day early.

That small adjustment is going to help tremendously with tomorrow’s logistics. Sometimes the biggest wins are just getting ahead by a few hours.

Corporate Chair Pickup & Tight Margins

The last stop was picking up chairs we dropped off yesterday for a corporate client. It was a small order.

Small orders usually mean low margins. That was definitely the case here — barely over 50%.

Sometimes that’s just how it goes.

Until next time
