Back from Back-to-Back Vacations
I finally touched down after another round of PTO — this time in Jamaica for a boys trip. It was fun (and loud), but let’s just say six straight days of jerk chicken and rum left me feeling less than refreshed. Between the jet lag, the heat, and the full itinerary, I didn’t get much rest. That said, the business didn’t totally pause.

Booking While Abroad
A few events came through while I was gone, and I was able to handle most of it remotely. Unfortunately, my Mint Mobile plan failed me in Jamaica, so I missed a ton of calls. But the digital inquiries rolled in strong. I don’t love working from mobile, but I had to lean in and adapt — especially with no desktop in sight. The good news? We’re stacking some promising jobs for the coming weeks.

Inventory Planning Begins
Looking ahead, I’ll need to make some targeted inventory purchases for upcoming events. That means it’s time to get back to work (for real this time), start planning, and figure out the most cost-effective way to execute. No more poolside proposals — I’m clocked back in.
