August 30, 2025 – Daily Recap

I’ll admit it: I cheated a little today. I drove the truck home preloaded so I wouldn’t have to make a pit stop at the warehouse this morning. Call it lazy, call it clever—I’ll take the efficiency points either way.

Last-Minute Tailgate Job
The only job on the agenda was a quick drop for some folks coming into town for a tailgate. They needed a small pop-up, tables, chairs, a couple coolers, and a trash setup. Pretty straightforward, but here’s the twist: it was the first time I’ve delivered a pop-up tent unassembled.

Honestly, I’m kind of bracing myself for that “uhh… how do we open this thing?” phone call tomorrow. Fingers crossed it all goes smooth, but I’ve got a feeling I’ll hear about it if not.

Back to the Admin Grind
With that out of the way, I slipped into admin mode for the rest of the day. A few highlights:

• Getting clearer on our string light offering

• Sending out a few quotes to keep the pipe line moving

• Laying down some groundwork for upcoming jobs

Not the flashy side of the business, but it’s the glue that holds the chaos together.
