August 23, 2025 – Daily Recap

I spent the whole day at Invest Fest (link) — Atlanta’s yearly legendary business extravaganza. Last year was my first time attending, and since it’s right in my backyard, I figured it’s worth making this a tradition.

Confession: I didn’t make it to Day 1 on Friday. Despite my best intentions, the reality of moving tables, chairs, and tents the day before had me wiped out. Day 2? Let’s just say I showed up… but maybe not at 100%.

Invest Fest, Day 2

There weren’t any massive takeaways this time around — mostly because my energy tank was running low. I’ll be honest, my networking game was weak. And networking is literally the point of Invest Fest. Still, even in my semi-zombie state, I stumbled onto something interesting: a new AI tool called Pietra Studios.

It’s geared toward launching ecommerce ideas, but it sparked something in me about how I might bend it to fit Peachy Party ATL. You know how some tools aren’t meant for you, but your brain starts cooking anyway? Yeah, that.

Client Contracts Secured

While I was half-coasting at Invest Fest, the real fireworks happened behind the scenes. I’ve been waiting on two particular clients to sign and pay their contracts — both events landing on the same weekend, which is going to take some serious planning.

Today, both contracts came through. Signed, sealed, and paid. It’s officially go time.

This could be one of those pivotal moments where things shift. We’ll see… but I’ve got a good feeling.
