April 2025 Financial Update

A quiet month, a tiny profit, and a big reminder that growth isn’t always linear

Let’s just say it wasn’t the strongest month. We brought in a little over $15K across 12 events. And while the calendar was light, we did manage to stay in the black — even if barely.

Some bright spots:

  • Gross profit margin held strong at 70.56%

  • Sub rentals made up just under 20% of total work — manageable, but something to watch

  • And hey, we were profitable! Net income for the month: $87. Cue the tiny victory parade. 🥲

Some things I’m keeping an eye on:

  • Quote-to-booking conversion rate came in low, which explains the slow pace

  • Direct costs were in check, but without more volume, it’s hard to move the needle

  • Compared to March, most key numbers were down

Plenty to learn from — and plenty of fire heading into May.
